After checking out Avery, we also went to Left Hand:

Bar food ain't what it used to be

Sarah & Erik came to visit from Phoenix, so of course we needed to have a marathon of beer-related activities.  Stop #1 was the new Avery.  I must admit, it is really impressive.  Not only is it GIGANTIC, but the food is awesome!  I mean, not just bar-standard -- but true restaurant quality GREAT.  Tom had this blackened catfish:

I would go there again, and I don't even like beer!!!

More RMNP goodness

Our hiking/snow-shoeing adventures continued to be beautiful…. we enjoyed a 6-mile jaunt along Trail Ridge Road.

RMNP rocks!

Yesterday I did a great hike in RMNP with Mark & Joanna. 

We had intended to snow-shoe, but only needed yak-traks (which is a LOT less work).  The birds are out in force: begging for all they're worth.  It's amazing what you can catch with a cell phone!!!!

Here was our lunch stop: the Loch. 

Happy Birthday, Anu!

We came to Phoenix to celebrate Anu's 40th birthday. For reasons we don't understand, her party was canceled. But that didn't stop us from celebrating!

We got together with Kaleo & Camille (whom we hadn't seen in 6 years!), Jennifer & Henry, Steve & Tiff, Jim & Sheila & Nate, and Erik. 

A good time was had by all....
